Two graffiti artists (Roy Valk/KARSKI and Olivier Schimmel) had the assignment to restyle the long wall of the Lombard Alley in Zeist.
They asked me to make an nice video of their work process, from design to wrap.

Well, here it is.

___Diamond Dance at The Dam___

Squatters were threatning with actions and the previous night demonstrations had been pretty rough. All because the new anti-squatting prohibition. Entire police squads were standing guard at the backside of our 40 meter track right in the centre of Amsterdam, The Dam Square.
On the lens side (and we had a lot of lenses as you can see), there was a group forty Diamond Dancers showing their passion.
The crowd was also entertained.
There were no problems at al and it was a fine day with Bjorn from Cinegrip.

Shooting people, showing their talent on this trampoline all day was a warm experience. Warm because the studio turned into a sauna and ofcourse the lovely company of Arnan and Jiska. Allways a pleasure.

Sewa Kroetkov, Summer Day in Den Haag

Spending most of our energie on a line that did not come to exist I can still happily show you this short montage that will be worth watching and was fun to shoot. Enjoy!



Sewa Kroetkov rollin Den Haag today, political capital of Holland. The fountain at Spui Square was pumping orange water just to give this montage an extra warm summer look....or should it have something to do with Holland winning, winning and winning match after match at the World Championships in Africa....

____De Sterkste Man van Nederland____

Shooting this movie was great fun. The director Mark de Cloe is a real positive energie spreading person and Bert Pot, the PD, is a most friendly and funny man.
At the wrap party we all got a little present from Mark. A small cup or prize with "best -function-". I made a picture of mine. I'm so proud check it out.

The project I'm currently working on is a television drama about Dutch soldiers
employd in Uruzgan. The crew is a happy bunch and that's a real blessing. And it's alway's good to work for director Erik van 't Wout and DP Mark de Blok.
Retour Uruzgan is produced by Talent United.

_____SK8! TEASER_____________

SK8! is a Dutch short directed by Marc Kniphorst and shot by DP Jasper Wolf.
The story is about two young skateboarders played by Noah Bunnink and Sjoerd Vissers.
Also featuring in this short are Benja Bruijning and Urvin Elshot. SK8! was shot in Belgium and Holland and if you look close you can see some real Dutch skateboard ledgends skate in the background. For just a few shots I did some camera operating from the skateboard, it was great. SK8! is produced by Family Affair Films and here a teaser allready.

___Stuff went down in Rotterdam___

Today's adventures include something with a "tril buis", some blue ten-stair action and stuff to teck for my vocabulary. All produced by these two champs from Alkmaar pictured above.

Last weekend, Silverdome, Zoetermeer. Knock Out!

We were shooting for the aftermovie produced by Dutch Tilt Productions.
A lot of sweat, beats and fireworks. I was filming "tits & ass" at 50 fps, just as I was assigned to do.

We just had a real good time squashing.. Sportmen we are, no doubt! Shooting a commercial produced by DENZZO. It was something with "Ja zeker!" again.

______Don't do drugs_______

The Trimbos institute organised an anti drug campaign for young students.
We had a good time shooting the video for this campaign, espacially the actors who had to do drugs and drink alcohol
during the entire shoot ;-)

My first day on the set in 2010

Yesterday I had my first shooting day of 2010. While snow and cold weather had their fun outside, we were shooting in almost every room of the Lloyd Hotel for a video clip for Stonebridge's The Morning After. The clip was produced by Dancefoundation.
